OATS KOZHUKATTAI

                                   A healthy delight for a tea time carving. Oats is rich in fiber content and it is a low calorie food. You can take Oats in Sweet & Savoury version of porridge,Oats Pongal,Oats Idly,Oats dosai.
So don't make delay to include Oats in your daily menu.

INGREDIENTS

OATS
1 Cup
COCONUT
2 Tbsp
GRATED CARROT
¼ Cup
WATER
¾ Cup
SALT
To Taste
MUSTARD SEEDS
¼ Tsp
URAD DHAL
¼ Tsp
CHANNA DHAL
½ Tsp
GREEN CHILLY

In a kadai heat oil & add Mustard Seeds,Urad dhal,Channa dhal,Green chilly,grated Carrot. Fry for 3 mins.

Add water & salt. Allow it to boil.

Now add the Oats. Mix well.

Keep the flame in low. If needed sprinkle little water.

When the Oats is cooked add the grated Coconut. Allow it to cool down.

Grase your hands & make small balls or in the shape of pidi kozhukattai.

Steam it for 5 mins.

Enjoy woth Tomato Ketch up ot Tomato chutney.
