AKKI ROTI

        My mom prepares this Rice flour roti/Akki roti often. Though she adds only Onion,Green Chilly with the Rice flour it taste good.

For a change I have added Grated Carrot. My mom used to spread the dough directly on the Stove top. I am scared to follow that procedure. So I used a Zip lock cover & I flattened it & toasted it on the tawa.

INGREDIENTS

RICE FLOUR
1 Cup
ONION
1
GRATED CARROT
½  Cup
GREEN CHILLY
1
RED CHILLY POWDER
1 Tsp
ASAFOETIDA
A Pinch
SALT
To Taste
OIL
As Req

STEP BY STEP PICTURES

In a bowl add Rice flour,Red chilly powder,Asafoetida,Salt.

Chop the Onion,Green chilly finely.

Mix the Rice Flour with the Onion,Green chilly,Grated Carrot.

Sprinkle water & form a smooth dough. Add oil to avoid dryness.

Take a zip lock cover. Grease with oil. Take a small ball & flatten it by using rolling down.

You can also flatten it by your hands also.

In a frying pan toast the roti by drizzling oil on both sides.

Serve hot otherwise it will not taste good.

Spicy Chutney will taste good.
