
This is a variation of Paruppu Urundai Kulambu. I have used Green gram Sprouts instead of Toor Dhal & Channa Dhal.
So this can also be called as healthy one. Here is the step wise recipe.

STEP BY STEP PICTURES

Grind Green gram sprouts with dry Red Chilly,Ginger,Garlic to a coarse paste.

Make small balls out of the mixture.

Saute Onion,tomato with 1 tsp of oil.


Grind Onion,Tomato along with Coconut,Soambu/Fennel seeds to a smooth paste.

Steam the balls for 10 mins.

In a Kadai heat oil & add Onions. Fry it then add the tomato.

Extract Tamarind juice & pour it. Add Sambar Powder,Salt.

Pour the grounded mixture.

Add the steamed balls into the gravy.

Let the gravy thicken & boil for few mins.

Switch off the flame & granish with coriander leaves.

Serve with hot rice.
