This Layered Vegetable Biryani can be prepared for our guests. Surely you can get appreciation from them. The addition of spices gives wonderful aroma to this Biryani. Instead of preparing the normal Biryani try this for a change.

STEP BY STEP PICTURES
In a kadai heat oil add items listed under the" temper " table.
Add the vegetables,green chillies,salt.
Now add the Biryani masala,Red chilly powder,Pepper powder,Ginger garlic paste.
Add curd and mix well. Cook till the vegetables turns soft.
Pressure cook the basmati rice by adding elachi,clove,salt. Allow it to cool down.
In a kadai heat oil and fry the onions.
Fry the onions until it turns golden brown.
Mix the orange food color in milk.
Grease the cooker with ghee.
Spread the rice. Sprinke milk over it.
Spread a layer of vegetables over it.
Spread the rice over it.
Sprinkle milk over it.
Cover it with rice layer.Sprinke the fried onions,corainder,mint leaves. Repeat this process for the entire rice & vegetables.
Close the pressure cooker keep in low flame for 10 mins (without putting the weight)
Fluff it with fork.
Serve hot.
Enjoy with raita.
NOTES
- You can add saffron strands in milk.
- Always finish with rice layer.
- You can add any vegetables.
- This layered biryani can also be baked in oven.
