I like to wish all my readers a very “ HAPPY
NEW YEAR”. I decided to start with a healthy breakfast in this new year . So I
made up my mind to post masala oats. This is a savoury version of oats. It taste delicious when it is served
hot.
INGREDIENTS
OATS

CARROT,PEAS (FROZEN)

CHILLY POWDER

TURMERIC
POWDER

STEP BY STEP PICTURES
Dry roast the oats until a nutty aroma comes out
Boil carrot,peas until it becomes soft.
In a kadai add roasted oats,boiled veggies.
Now add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt. Add
some water. Allow it to boil in medium flame.
Cook till you reach the consistency of porridge.
Switch off the flame add coriander
leaves(optional),pepper powder
Serve hot with pappad/chips.
Enjoy hot
Yummy oats.
NOTES
- Vegetables is purely your choice.
- You can also pressure cook the vegetables.
